Love your Projects, bought all the components to do the Bimini, all went well until I started to assemble. the pieced would not fit together then the rivets broke when I tried to remove them. Then when I got back to my shop to try again the tubing tore rather than the two pieces seperating. I am hopeful they will replace the defective parts so I can install and sail in some shade. I will keep you posted on the outcome. I do have a good tip. I am probably going to replace all the rivets with telescoping bolts.
Hi Stingy,
I took your advice on the fiberglass repair to hull of Boston Whaler Harpoon 5.2. Came out nice.
On another issue, do you have any info on best way to replace the gaskets on SS elvestrom bailers on same boat?
Hey! Glad I found your page – I’m about to do my crib boards and like your results!
Good luck on ’em, Mike! If I can answer any questions for ya, don’t hesitate to ask.

Can 3M 5200 be used at below waterline on a Boston Whaler Harpoon to seal damage to fiberglass hull; size of a tennis ball in surface area.
Hi, Chuck
It might work as an emergency fix but I’d recommend repairing the fiberglass as a permanent solution.
